Saiyaara Review: A Soulful Journey of Love, Loss, and Healing
In a cinematic era dominated by fast-paced thrillers and superficial romances, Saiyaara emerges as a heartfelt love saga that reminds us why we fell in love with Bollywood in the first place. Directed with finesse by Mohit Suri, known for his soulful storytelling (Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain), this film is a gentle emotional journey of healing, sacrifice and love.
Saiyaara Story
The story revolves around Krish (played by Ahaan Panday), a young man struggling to hold together the shattered pieces of his family, especially his grief-stricken father who lives in the memory of his late wife. Into this fragile world enters Vaani (Aneet Padda), a quiet yet powerful presence carrying her own broken past. Without a single dramatic dialogue, her silence speaks volumes, offering comfort not only to Krish but also to his emotionally distant father.
What makes Saiyaara stand out is its depth of emotion. The film doesn’t rush to impress. Instead, it slowly builds a connection with the viewer. The chemistry between the leads is natural and unforced. Ahaan Panday delivers a mature, layered performance and Aneet Padda is a revelation — calm, expressive and heartbreakingly real.

Saiyaara Music
The music of Saiyaara is one of its strongest pillars. The title track, composed with soul and sung hauntingly by Shreya Ghoshal, stays with you long after the credits roll. Lyrics like “Main tujh mein aadha, tu mujh mein aadha” mirror the essence of the story — two incomplete people finding wholeness in each other.
Overall Experience
In a world where theatre audiences are dwindling, Saiyaara breaks the norm. With no big names, no aggressive promotions and just heartfelt storytelling and music, it has brought viewers back to cinema halls — and tears to their eyes.
