It was fun to watch all three together. After you watch Hwang In-Youp in True Beauty, it was pretty unexpected that he could play such a silent and calm role in this series. The series is based on a musical drama that tells us the story of a poor girl named Yoon Ah-Yi who struggles every day to make a living. She took care of her younger sister, and her father abandoned her. She works hard to pay her father’s debt also as many of them ask to repay the loan as soon as possible. She was a student at Sewoon high school and despite having a hard life, she was a topper in the school. When she was young passionate about magic. But later she loses her belief in magic. Later in the series, she meets Ri Eul through a card. That part was very interesting when Yoon followed the flying card and ended up meeting Ri Eul. He is a magician who wants to remain a ‘child’.

At first, she was scared but later she started visiting his residence often to learn magic tricks. This residence is a very wonderful, abandoned amusement park. Ri Eul believed that he is a real magician and often used to ask people ‘Do You Believe In Magic?’ An ll-Leung, who always wanted to help Ah-yi. He offered her to complete his assignment and in return he paid her. Through that money, she paid some of her father’s mortgage. When she started visiting Ri Eul to learn a magic trick Il- Leung started eavesdropping on her and finally met Ri Eul.

Ri Eul has a dark past and at the end of the episode, he was arrested by the police. Il-Leung started liking Ah-Yi. In the end, it was shown that Ah-Yi once again started being in magic and decided to follow her dream to the fullest. It is shown that she has a lot of part-time jobs and is also doing magic shows. She often sent letters to Ri Eul and nobody knows where he is now.

We can expect the upcoming season to tell us about Ri Eul’s present life and Ah-Yi becoming rich by following her passion and dream of being a magician. Even if it will have a season 2, then I will be excited to see who Ah-yi will end up with. Both are good to her, but whom will she choose as her life partner? I can’t wait for that.
